The International Week academic courses will be provided in English by lecturers from all over the world. Each course is worth 3 ECTS. The students who are officially registered for IntWeek are exempted from participation in their regular classes during the whole week, i.e., 7-10 April 2025. Attendance in the classes of the selected course is obligatory.
All the courses will be provided in computer labs in CNTI Building, Katowice, Bogucicka 5.
Foreign teachers from various countries around the world are coming to Katowice particularly to meet Polish students.
The documents justifying participation in the International Week courses will be available upon the student’s requests at the end of March 2025. Students can ask for those documents by email: intweek@ue.katowice.pl.
The final grades will be available in the university electronic protocol in June 2025, when the protocols will be opened for the Summer 2025 session.
The courses offered within International Week constitute an educational offer of the University of Economics in Katowice. The eligible candidates are:
- full-time and part-time Bachelor’s degree students of all four faculties of the University of Economics in Katowice
- International students, both short-term (e.g. Erasmus) and long-term studying at the University of Economics in Katowice.
The classes take place simultaneously so each student may participate only in one of the courses. There will be around 20 students in each group. The registration takes place online and on a first-come, first-served basis. The students must take an exam at the end of each course.
During International Week students are evaluated by foreign teachers.
The students, who have failed the exam, are asked to take the exam once again during the semester under the supervision of teachers chosen by the Dean of the School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies. Those teachers will stay in contact with the 13th International Week lecturers.
